    Divya Kakran, a resident of Purbaliyan village of Muzaffarnagar, is an Indian freestyle wrestling player. She is also the first woman in the country to win a gold medal in the 68 kg weight category of the Asian Wrestling Championship 2020. Divya Kakran also won a gold medal in the 2017 Commonwealth Wrestling Championship. After this, in 2018, this wrestler won bronze medals in the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. Divya Kakran was awarded the country’s prestigious Arjuna Award in 2020 for her excellent performance.
